To support BH Students livestock projects:
Thank You Card Etiquette
Proper thank you card etiquette is thoughtfulness that reflects your gratitude and appreciation. A simple effort today may help maintain heartfelt bonds for years to come
Handwritten
A custom printed design with your name printed is beautiful when the heartfelt message is handwritten. Even when you've thanked the other party in person, experts agree, that handwritten thank you note etiquette is the complimentary personal touch to a gift received. Always complete your thank you note with a handwritten message signed by the writer.
What to Write
Keep it simple from the heart and you can only say the right things.
Always use blue or blank ink, not pencil or colored ink.
Leave space on etiher side of your print and line up your margins.
Check for misspelled words and grammer. This is very important.
Thank you notes for your buyers.
All FFA exhibitors are required to hand write a personal thank you note to their buyer before receiving their premium checks from the sale of SAE projects.
Students, you may choose to purchase a Thank You card or download our FFA Chapter card below. All animals sold at YPS must turn in a Thank You card in an envelope with your name and the buyers address information on the top left corner.
YOU also must place a stamp on the envelope before turning it in.
HANDWRITE THE THANK YOU
DO NOT TYPE YOUR MESSAGE.
Sample Letter
Dear Mr & Mrs Smith,
Thank you very much for supporting my Supervised Agriculture Experience project at our county show.
The livestock show was a great success and I enjoyed being a part of it.
The show was a special event for me. My lamb placed 4th in class and I was excited to make the auction. Your support is a contribution to my college fund and my future.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Chambers County YPS next year.
Thank you again,
Nancy
